Diamonds are a Girls best friend! (Castle Fun)

Anyone else wish they were a disney princess, no? Just me?

Well we were treated like royalty recently at the beautiful 12thC Heidelberg Castle in Germany.

Even more exciting was that 10 of our lovely dancers were going…more It girls, more legs, more giggles!

We turned up bright and early to soundcheck in the torrential rain, squishing the suitcases through the mud I felt more ugly sister than princess!

The girls kept their spirits high though and off to soundcheck we went….hmmmm did no one mention the massive square box in the middle of our stage….no problem casual reblock done and we were just about ready.

The room was beautiful with fresh flowers draped everywhere, the fantastic Rat Pack orchestra played a beautiful version of Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend and the audience loved it.

They especially loved when Marylin Monroe jumped out of a 6ft birthday cake, apparently the fireworks were incredible lighting up Heidelberg however we were too busy backstage doing a quick change into our new White Corsets to notice.

Ready to get the party started we were in sparkling in spotlights to Oliver Tompsetts rendition of We Will Rock You, we love nothing better than a good party and this one was a scorcher, a fantastic band and a great vibe had the girls dancing all night. Just like Cinderella though we had to take off our sparkly shoes & fly home.

A massive personal thankyou to Stephen, Fallon & all the girls for their hard work on such a long day.

No rest for the wicked though no sooner do we land than we repack the suitcase for a little trip to Bulgaria….Road trip!

Hello beautiful readers! If you love stories with sparkle you’re in the right place! I’m one of the dancers as well as Assistant Creative Director for the IT Girls. I hope you enjoy my amazing experiences as an IT Girl! Love Kayleigh.
